HUGO P APPOINTS EMPLOYEE FOR WEBSHOP

Hugo P Lædervarer & rejseartikler has several times attempted to expand its business with an online sales platform, but in a busy everyday life it can be difficult to find the time to get an online shop properly off the ground. The lockdown during Covid-19 therefore provided extra motivation to give the online shop more attention, and in this connection the programme Genstart Erhverv i Gadeplan (GEIG) was an obvious choice to participate in.
As part of GEIG’s micro-mentor scheme, Hugo P received a 360-degree review of their webshop and became aware of where to optimise and make changes to ensure better online performance. Today, Hugo P has a modern and conversion-optimised website, and owner Helge Krogsgaard Tiedchen has become very aware of how many resources typically need to be put into a webshop, and that he should not be the one handling that part himself. This has resulted in Hugo P hiring an employee who is responsible for the daily maintenance of the webshop. https://hugo-p.dk/.
Has the programme been good? Yes, it certainly has, but it has also thrown a lot of new balls and tasks into the air, and at times created confusion in my head, says Helge Krogsgaard Tiedchen. But it has been good to be challenged, and now things are starting to fall into place.
