Welcome on an inspirational trip to Fehmarn and discover how local growth, new partnerships and business opportunities can arise in the wake of one of Europe's largest infrastructure projects. On the trip, you will get inspiration on how experiences and solutions from Fehmarn can create value and new perspectives in a Bornholm context.

 

What do you get out of the trip?

On the excursion you will get:

  • Insights into how local businesses have created growth and new business opportunities
  • Knowledge of networks, collaborations and supplier opportunities relating to large projects
  • Perspectives and ideas we can take home for our development work on Bornholm – including inspiration for the mobile village near Aakirkeby

Outline of the programme (updated continuously)
05:00: Pick-up by bus in Nexø (at the Harbour Office, Sdr. Hammer 10)

05:30: Pick-up by bus in Rønne (at BRK's building Landemærket 26)
06:30: Check-in and departure by ferry
During the crossing: Breakfast and networking

Upon arrival in Ystad, the trip goes directly to Fehmarn, where we will, amongst other things, meet:

Visit to FLC Village

We are looking at their mobile housing solutions and are given a tour of the facilities. Here, we gather inspiration for our own mobile village near Åkirkeby and take a closer look at which ideas and business opportunities might be relevant to bring home.

Here we get an insight into the scope, development and significance of the project for the area.

Meeting with local businesses
We hear from companies that have developed and grown in the wake of the significant activity surrounding the Fehmarn Belt project. How have they seized these opportunities, and what can we learn from their experiences?

We meet the local business service and hear about their work and about FB Suppliers, a network of businesses that supply the area.

Registration

There are a limited number of spaces, and registration is on a first-come, first-served basis first come, first served-the principle.

Target audience

Participants in the Lighthouse Project, as well as all other businesses on Bornholm that are interested in Energy Island Bornholm and seizing opportunities in connection with it.
