The numerous consultation responses to the proposal for a significant reduction in Business Center Bornholm's funding point to a shared concern: Bornholm risks weakening the capacity required to translate political ambitions into business development, investments, jobs and ultimately tax revenues.
It is crucial that the ambitions are translated into action through a long-term business policy and in close cooperation between politicians, administration and the business community. The coalition agreement is an important first step – now it is all about delivering results together.

The flight connection between Bornholm and Copenhagen is not merely a transport link; it is the very lifeblood of the Bornholm community and crucial for the island's business sector.

I think that we can be proud of our versatile food sector, ranging from the farmer who ensures the supply of food to the world market to the many niche products that ensure local identity and food experiences. But we cannot rest on our laurels. Green transition is the key to a sustainable future, and we are already, in a small way, on the right track.
