REFLAX WEBSHOP CAME TO BE DURING COVID-19

As a self-employed business owner, you can have as many ambitions as you like, but time is often short when it comes to achieving everything. This was also the case at Reflax in Svaneke, which during the COVID-19 lockdown chose to use the time to create its own webshop.
For fashion designer and owner Natalia Karpman Trudsø, timing was precisely what was crucial for her participation in the Restart Business on the High Street (GEIG) project. She had just built a webshop, but lacked that final sparring on how to get it off the ground.
Through sparring and consulting, Reflax webshop has shifted into a completely new gear, which Natalia Karpman Trudsø is very pleased with. She originally entered the project to get help with SEO and SEM, but through a sparring process and fresh eyes on her business, Reflax webshop has today become an online shop window and thus a complement to the physical shop on Glastorvet in Svaneke. She has connected Instagram Shopping and Facebook Shopping, and can now see the direct effect when she showcases a product on social media.
Natalia Karpman Trudsø still prefers the personal service and relationship with her customers in her shop, but the webshop has become an expanded marketing platform where she reaches more people and can actively showcase her styles and new products. Some customers then buy online, while those who are able to drop by the shop.
Through the GEIG programme, Reflax has noticed a clear impact – also in pounds and pence, as more potential customers have discovered the many clothing designs and lifestyle products carefully selected by Natalia Karpman Trudsø.
