Bornholm is facing a comprehensive transition with fewer
wastewater treatment plants and new pumping stations. Precisely for this reason, the timing is ideal for
rethink some of the most energy-intensive processes.
Bornholm Energy and Supply invites
technology suppliers, consultants and knowledge partners to contribute with
solutions, analyses and pilot projects that can lower energy consumption in
the sewerage system.
Pumping stations account for a large part of the energy consumption in
wastewater systems, and Bornholm's special terrain and infrastructure amplify
the challenge. We are therefore investigating new technical, hydraulic and operational
concepts that can significantly reduce energy consumption without compromising
reliability or robustness.
The aim of the physical workshop is for us to jointly develop potential solutions that can make Bornholm a beacon for energy-efficient and future-proof supply.
NOTE: Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) can have their expenses for participating in the workshop covered through the state aid scheme under the de minimis regulation. This means that SMEs can receive support as long as the total aid amount does not exceed the de minimis limit (currently DKK 300,000 over three financial years).
