Workshop

ESG for SMEs – from overview to action

4. November

ESG is playing an increasingly prominent role in dialogue with customers, banks, insurance companies and partners. At the same time, many small and medium-sized enterprises find that ESG can seem overwhelming and that it is difficult to know where to begin. The reality is that most companies are already doing much of the right thing. The challenge is often to gain an overview, prioritise efforts and systematise the work.

At this workshop, Transition will help you translate ESG into concrete actions that make sense specifically for your business. Through short presentations, practical exercises and concrete tools, you will work with your own company and gain a strong foundation for your continued ESG work.

After lunch, there is the opportunity for individual mentoring with the advisors from Transition regarding precisely your company's challenges and opportunities.

You leave the workshop with:

  • A clear overview of what ESG means for your business
  • A simple assessment of the most important ESG issues
  • An update on the work the company is already doing
  • A draft of a concrete action plan
  • Practical tools and templates that you can continue working with
  • Opportunity for individual coaching with experienced ESG advisors

Who should attend?

The workshop is aimed at owners, managers and key employees in small and medium-sized enterprises who want to work more structurally with ESG.

It is particularly relevant if you:

  • meet demands from customers or partners
  • wish to be better prepared for future ESG requirements
  • understands what matters to larger business customers
  • want to use ESG as part of your development and competitiveness
  • would rather have a practical approach than theory and get started on the first actions

You don't need to have worked with ESG before.

Is it time for a change of strategy, perhaps the acquisition or sale of a business? Perhaps an employee or partner needs to become a co-owner. Perhaps a buyer is coming along. Or perhaps you simply want to create a stronger and less owner-dependent business.
