Many manufacturing companies know that there is potential in reducing waste – but it can be difficult to know where to begin.
At this workshop, you will learn a practical method for mapping your company's material flows and identifying where resources are lost, can be recycled or utilised better. You will work with your own company throughout the day and receive guidance along the way from experts at the Danish Technological Institute.
The workshop alternates between short presentations and practical exercises, where you step-by-step develop a Waste Map for your company. The goal is for you to leave with a concrete basis for decision-making that can be used in your continued work to reduce waste and create greater value from the company's resources.
We recommend that each company participates with one or two people who have insight into the company's production and material flow.
The workshop is being run by the Danish Technological Institute as part of the ZeroWaste project in collaboration with Business Center Bornholm.
